Setting the frame rate of the variable frame rate recording function

Turn the multidial to display the [ FRAME RATE].

Press the multidial.
The frame rate display is highlighted in orange.

Turn the multidial to select the frame rate.

The setting changes to the value displayed and exits.
Press the <EXIT> button to exit without changing the setting.
When the REC button is pressed while it is possible to record, exits from the setting after changing the setting to the displayed value, and then the
recording is started.

Adjusting the area size/area position of the area mode function

Turn the multidial to display the [ AREA].

Press the multidial.

Turn the multidial to change the size of the area frame.

Press the <%> button, <(> button, <)> button, or <=/&> button to change the position of the area frame.

Press the multidial.
The setting is changed to the displayed size/position and exits.
The setting is changed and exits also by pressing the <EXIT> button.

Adjusting the width of the auto focus area
Adjusts the width of the area that auto focus is enabled according to the size of the subject.

Press the USER button assigned to [AF AREA] or touch the USER button icon while the camera image screen is displayed.
[
AF AREA] is displayed in the camera image screen.

Turn the multidial to adjust the auto focus area frame.

Press the multidial.
The setting changes to the width displayed and exits.
Press the <EXIT> button to exit without changing the setting.
To release the setting, press the USER button to which [AF AREA] is assigned or touch the USER button icon.
To adjust the setting again, press the multidial when [
AF AREA] is displayed in yellow and perform Steps 2 to 3.

t The width of the auto focus area frame can be adjusted even if the [CAMERA] menu → [SW MODE] → [AF AREA WIDTH] → [ON] is set and the
menu is closed.
