The camcorder can output audio from the SDI OUT terminal (m only), HDMI OUT terminal, × (headphone)
terminal or built-in mono speaker. When recording, or playing back clips recorded, with 4-channel audio, you
can select which audio channels will be output from the terminals and speaker.

[3 Recording Setup] > [MP4 Audio Format] setting.

You can select the audio channels that are output with the following procedure.
Selecting the Audio Channels
1 Select [Monitor Channels] or [HDMI Channels] depending on the terminal you wish to use.
> [¡ #* Audio Setup] > [Monitor Channels] (headphones/speaker) or [HDMI Channels]
(HDMI OUT terminal)

2 Touch the desired option and then touch [X].
Options
All of the following settings are available for [Monitor Channels]; only [ƒ CH1/CH2] and [ CH3/CH4] are
available for [HDMI channels].
* In mode, these options are available only when [3 Recording Setup] > [MP4 Audio Format] is set to
[ LPCM 16bit 4CH].
NOTES
If you set an assignable button to [œ Monitor Channels] (A 94), you can press the button to change the
audio channels output from the × (headphone) terminal.
