Topping-up the engine oil level
The location of the oil filler cap is shown in the
correspondingunderbonnetlayoutview.
F Unscrew the oil filler cap to reveal the filler
aperture.
F Addoilinsmallquantities,avoidingany
spillsonenginecomponents(riskoffire).
F Waitafewminutesbeforecheckingthe
levelagainusingthedipstick.
F Addmoreoilifnecessary.
F Aftercheckingthelevel,carefullyrefitthe
oilfillercapandthedipstickinitstube.
Engine oil change
Refertothemanufacturer'sserviceschedule
fordetailsoftheintervalforthisoperation.
Inordertomaintainthereliabilityoftheengine
and emission control system, never use
additivesintheengineoil.
Aftertopping-uptheoil,thecheckwhen
switchingontheignitionwiththeoil
level indicator in the instrument panel
isnotvalidduringthe30minutesafter
toppingup.
Oil grade
Beforetopping-uptheoilorchangingtheoil,
checkthattheoilisthecorrectgradeforyour

recommendations.
