On sharp acceleration, as when
descendingasteephill,thespeed
limiter will not be able to prevent
thevehiclefromexceedingthe
programmedspeed.
The limiter is temporarily deactivated
andthedisplayedprogrammedspeed
flashes.
Anaudiblesignalaccompaniesthe
flashingoftheprogrammedspeed
whenexceedingthespeedisnotdueto
anactionbythedriver.
The use of mats not approved by
CITROËN may interfere with the
operationofthespeedlimiter.
Toavoidanyriskofjammingofthe
pedals:
- ensure that the mat is secured
correctly,
- donotfitonematontopofanother.
Flashingofthedashesindicatesafaultwiththe
speedlimiter.
HaveitcheckedbyaCITROËNdealerora
qualifiedworkshop.
Operating fault
F Press firmly on the accelerator pedal,
goingbeyondthepoint of resistance, to
exceedtheprogrammedspeedlimit.
The speed limiter is deactivated temporarily
andthedisplayedprogrammedspeedflashes.
Anaudiblesignalaccompaniestheflashing
oftheprogrammedspeedwhenexceeding
the speed is not due to an action by the driver
(steephill...).
Assoonasthevehicle'sspeedreturnstothe
programmedvalue,thelimiteroperatesagain:
thedisplayoftheprogrammedspeedbecomes
steadyagain.
Switching off
Temporarily exceeding the
programmed speed
F Turn the thumbwheel 1 to the "0"position.
The display of speed limiter information
disappears.
