Towbarwithquicklydetachabletowball
Fitting
F Below the rear bumper, unclip and remove
theprotectivecoveronthecarrier.
F Beforefittingthetowball,checkthatthe
points of contact, indicated by the arrows,
areclean.
Useasoftcleancloth.
F Ensurethatthetowballisfullyengaged.
The two pins must be in contact with
the cut-outs in the carrier and the
triggerB must have returned to the
"locked"position.
F Install and clip in place the protective
cover,byrotatingittotheleft.
F On the towball, press and hold control A.
F Releasethelockingmechanismby
pressingthetriggerB.
F Put the end of the towball into the carrier,
locatedbelowthebumper,asfarasitwillgo.
Notoolsarerequiredtoinstallorremovethetowballonthisgenuinetowbarsystem.
F Connectthetrailerplugtothe13-way
socketprovided,locatednexttothecarrier.
F Makethetrailersafebyattachingitssafety
cable to the eye provided for this purpose,
locatedonthecarrier.
