Front parking sensors
Thesoundemittedbythespeaker(front
or rear) indicates whether the obstacle
isinfrontorbehind.
The system will be deactivated
automaticallyifatrailerisbeing
towed or a bicycle carrier is fitted on
a towbar (vehicle fitted with a towbar
installedinlinewiththemanufacturer's
recommendations).
In bad weather or in winter, ensure
that the sensors are not covered with
mud,iceorsnow.Whenreversegearis
engaged,anaudiblesignal(longbeep)
indicatesthatthesensorsmaybedirty.
Certain sound sources (motorcycle,
lorry,pneumaticdrill,etc.)maytrigger
theaudiblesignalsoftheparking
sensorsystem.
Asanadditiontotherearparkingsensors,the
frontparkingsensorsaretriggeredwhenan
obstacle is detected in front and the speed of
thevehicleremainsbelow6mph(10km/h).
Thefrontparkingsensorsareinterruptedif
the vehicle stops for more than three seconds
inforwardgear,ifnofurtherobstaclesare
detected or when the speed of the vehicle
exceeds6mph(10km/h).
Theparkingsensorscanbedeactivatedinthe
touchscreentablet.
F In the Driving menu, select the "Driving
assistance" tab, then "Parking sensors".
Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of
thesystem,whenreversegearis
engaged,thiswarninglampflashes
for a few moments then stays on
continuously.
This indicator comes on in the
instrumentpanel.
Anewselectionreactivatesthefunction.
High pressure jet wash
Whenwashingyourvehicle,donot
directthelancewithin30cmofthe
sensors.
Theparkingsensorsaredeactivated
whiletheParkAssistsystemis
measuringaspace.
