11. Use the Dial and select the alignment of the Sensor
cable as it relates to the machine driveshaft. The red
line (or dot) on the screen graphic represents the
driveshaft. After you select the orientation, the
measurement screen appears.

Note
The vibration from a drivetrain may change
depending on the load and ambient temperature
of the motor. You must finish a measurement
within 30 minutes. If not, the “Measurement
Timeout” message appears and redirects you to
select the Sensor orientation and location.
Table 4-17 is a list of softkey functions for the
Measurement Functions screen.
