16.4.2 UART Trigger
Touch Trigger Setting in the dialog box to set the trigger condition:
A. Source Type: RX or TX
B. Trigger Condition: Start, Stop, Data or Error
C. When the "trigger condition" is Data, set the
compare type to =, ＞, ＜
D. When the "trigger condition" is Data, set the data
value
E. Return to the previous menu
Trigger Condition
Start — The oscilloscope triggers when the start bit appears on the RX/TX.
Stop — The oscilloscope triggers when the stop bits appear on the RX/TX. It always triggers on
the first stop bit.
Data — Trigger on data
Touch Compare Type to select "=", ">" or "<".
Touch Value to set the data value by the universal knob or virtual keypad. The range of
data values is 0x00 to 0xff.
Error — The oscilloscope performs a parity check on the data according to the parity type set by
the user, and triggers if the check value is incorrect.
16.4.3 UART Serial Decode
The configuration of UART decoding is similar to that of I2C decoding.
