Fairings
Middle Fairing Removal
•
Remove:
Fuel Tank Cover (see Fuel Tank Cover Removal)
Bolt [A] (L = 16 mm) and Washer
Bolt [B] (L = 10 mm) and Washer
Bolt [C] (L = 20 mm) and Washer
•
Remove the bolts [A].
•
Pull the middle fairing [B] outward to clear the projection
[C] and the hook fastener [D], and remove the middle fair-
ing.
Middle Fairing Installation
•
Installation is the reverse of removal.
•
Check that the hook fasteners [A] are in place on the fuel
tank [B] and the middle fairing [C].
Fit the hook fastener to the concave shape on the fuel
tank and the middle fairing.
•
For the right side fairing, check that the pad [A] is in place
on the fairing [B].
Fit the pad to the line on the middle fairing.
•
Insert the projection [A] into the hole [B], and fit the hook
fasteners [C].
