Usingconnectors,ports,andbuttonsNeverforceaconnectorintoaport
orapplyexcessivepressuretoabutton,becausethismaycausedamagethat
isnotcoveredunderthewarranty.Iftheconnectorandportdontjoinwith
reasonableease,theyprobablydontmatch.Checkforobstructionsandmake
surethattheconnectormatchestheportandthatyouhavepositionedthe
connectorcorrectlyinrelationtotheport.
LightningtoUSBCableDiscolorationoftheLightningconnectorafter
regularuseisnormal.Dirt,debris,andexposuretomoisturemaycause
discoloration.IfyourLightningcableorconnectorbecomewarmduringuseor
iPhonewon’tchargeorsync,disconnectitfromyourcomputerorpower
adapterandcleantheLightningconnectorwithasoft,dry,lint-freecloth.Donot
useliquidsorcleaningproductswhencleaningtheLightningconnector.
Certainusagepatternscancontributetothefrayingorbreakingofcables.The
LightningtoUSBCable,likeanyothermetalwireorcable,issubjectto
becomingweakorbrittleifrepeatedlybentinthesamespot.Aimforgentle
curvesinsteadofanglesinthecable.Regularlyinspectthecableand
connectorforanykinks,breaks,bends,orotherdamage.Shouldyoufindany
suchdamage,discontinueuseoftheLightningtoUSBCable.
OperatingtemperatureiPhoneisdesignedtoworkinambienttemperatures
between32°and95°F(0°and35°C)andstoredintemperaturesbetween-4°
and113°F(-20°and45°C).iPhonecanbedamagedandbatterylife
shortenedifstoredoroperatedoutsideofthesetemperatureranges.Avoid
exposingiPhonetodramaticchangesintemperatureorhumidity.Whenyoure
usingiPhoneorchargingthebattery,itisnormalforiPhonetogetwarm.
