arehiddenorimplementothersecurityfeatures,soyoumustcongure
yourphonesoitcanconnecttothem.
TurnoffWi-Fiwhenyou’renotusingit,toextendthelifeofyourbattery.
WhenyouconnecttoaWi-Finetwork,thephoneobtainsanetwork
addressandotherinformationitneedsfromthenetwork,usingtheDHCP
protocol.TocongurethephonewithastaticIPaddressandother
advancedsettings,fromtheWi-Fisettingsscreen,touchandholdthe
connectednetwork.TapModify network intheContextmenuthatappears,
thencheckmarkthe Show advanced optionscheckbox.
To turn Wi-Fi on and connect to a Wi-Fi network
1. FromtheHomescreen,touchandholdtheRecent Apps Key (inthe
TouchKeysbar)>System settings>Networkstab>Wi-Fi.
IftheWi-Fiswitch
isoff(grayicon),tapit toturnonWi-Fi(On
turnsblue),yourphonescansforavailableWi-Finetworks.
2. Tapanetwork,thentapConnecttoconnecttoit.

tappingthenetworkname.
