Optionsmenuscontaintoolsthatapplytotheactivitiesofthecurrent

screenorapp,nottoanyspecicitemonthescreen.Toopentheavailable

Optionsmenu,taptheMenu icon

(attheupper-rightcornerofthe

screen).ToopentheOptionsmenuontheHomescreen,touchandhold

theRecent Apps Key(intheTouchKeysbaratthebottomofthescreen).

Context menus

Contextmenuscontainoptionsthatapplytoaspecicitemonthescreen.

ToopenaContextmenu,touchandholdanitemonthescreen.Notall

itemshaveContextmenus.Ifyoutouchandholdanitemthathasno

Contextmenu,nothingwillhappen.

Managing Notifications

Noticationiconsreportthearrivalofnewmessages,calendarevents,

alarms,aswellasongoingevents,suchaswhenyou’reinacall.

Whenyoureceiveanotication,thenoticationiconwillbedisplayedinthe

StatusBar.You canopentheNoticationspaneltoviewalistofallofyour

recentnotications.Dependingonyoursettings,youmayheara

noticationsound,and/orseeanoticationlight(attheupper-leftcornerof

thephone),and/orthephonemayvibrate.

To open the Notifications panel

TouchanddragtheStatusBartothebottomofthescreen.

TheNoticationspaneldisplaysalistofyourcurrentnotications,organized

intoongoingandevent-basednotications.ItalsoincludesaQuickSettings

iconbar(atthetopofthepanel)toallowyoutoquicklyandeasilychange

commonlyusedsettings.

NOTE You canalsoaccessthecompleteSettingsmenufromthispanelbytappingtheSettings

icon

(attheupper-rightcornerofthescreen).
