9. VCI Manager
The VCI Manager is an application for connecting the OTOFIX tablet with a VCI device
and checking the communication status.
The OTOFIX diagnostics system supports battery test function with the OTOFIX BT1 Lite
Smart Battery Tester (purchased separately).

1. Connection Mode — four connection modes are available. The connection status
appears adjacent to each mode.
1. VCI BT Pairing — when the VCI is paired to a wireless device, the connection
state reads "Connected". Otherwise it reads "Disconnected".
2. BAS BT Pairing — when the battery tester is paired successfully via Bluetooth,
the connection state reads "Connected". Otherwise it reads "Disconnected".
3. VCI Update — updates VCI software via Internet through the diagnostic tablet
networking via Bluetooth pairing.
4. BAS Update — updates the battery tester software
Select a connection mode to manage and set up a connection.
2. Settings — this section allows you to manage wireless connectivity.
BT Setting — searches and displays the type and partial serial number of
devices available for Bluetooth pairing. Tap a device to start pairing. The BT
status icon displays the received signal strength for the device.
