Practical tips
The charging cable supplied from the factory
all
o
ws for charging with a maximum charging
current of 16 amperes. It may not be possible
to charge the vehicle at some charging sta-
tions which provide higher charging currents.
Bear in mind the information and indications
of the charging station.
Charging in Norway
There are many electrical installations in Nor-
way whose technical standards differ from
those applicable to the rest of Europe.
Only use a charging cable with a 5 x 6 mm

section. Bear in mind the figure that ap-
pears on the char
ging cabl
e.
Before travelling to Norway, check whether
your charging cable for charging stations
meets the requirements mentioned above.
CAUTION
Charging the high-voltage battery with an
inappropriat
e charging cable could cause
short circuits, serious injuries and fatal
electrical shocks.
Do not use a charging cable with a sec-
tion that is too small.
Note
To use the charging station, bear in mind
the manufact
urer’s indications and usage
instructions.

socket, the protection device automatically
performs a self-check. The control and warn-
ing lamps then briefly light up and turn off.
Then the current operating status is dis-
played.
Operating displays
The control lamps that indicate the operation
turn on or flash green.

heating
The charging cable is fitted with a tempera-
ture supervision system. The temperature su-
pervision is activated if the charging cable is
too hot due to, for example, overheating in the
luggage compartment where it is stored or
exposure to intense solar radiation.
