When an external microphone is connected, the microphone is turned on
automatically. If the external microphone is a plug-in-power type, the
power of the microphone is supplied by the camera.

Not attached to the camera at the factory. It is recommended that you
attach the eyepiece cup when you intend to use the viewfinder.
Attaching/removing the eyepiece cup
Match the bottom side of the eyepiece cup to the viewfinder, and attach it by
pushing the top side of the eyepiece cup in.
To remove the eyepiece cup, grasp it on the left and right sides and pull it
down.
Remove the eyepiece cup when you attach an accessory (sold separately)
