NOTE
When a system malfunction occurs
while charging or using the remote
climate control system, the charging
indicator rapidly flashes for approxi-
mately 10 seconds and then turns off.
If this occurs, the next time the hybrid
system is started, a message will be
displayed on the combination meter.
When a message is displayed, follow
the instructions displayed on the
screen.

WARNING
Observe the following precautions
when using the charge cable and
Charging Circuit Interrupting De-
vice. Failure to do so may cause an
accident, resulting in death or ser-
ious injury.
Do not attempt to disassemble or
repair the charge cable, charging
connector, plug or Charging Cir-
cuit Interrupting Device.
If a problem arises with the
charge cable or the Charging
Circuit Interrupting Device, stop
charging immediately and con-
tact your SUBARU dealer.
Do not subject the charge cable,
charging connector, plug or
Charging Circuit Interrupting De-
vice to strong force or impact.
Do not apply excessive force to
the charge cable by forcefully
folding, twisting, pulling or drag-
ging the charge cable.
Do not damage the charge cable
with sharp objects.
Do not fold the charging connec-
tor or the plug or insert foreign
objects into them.
Do not put the charging connec-
tor or the plug into water.
If they are dropped into water,
contact your SUBARU dealer.
Do not bring the charge cable to a
high-temperature item such as a
heating device.
Do not wrap the charge cable
around the Charging Circuit In-
terrupting Device.
CAUTION
. To prevent damage to the charge
cable and related parts, observe
the following precautions.
When interrupting or cancel-
ing charging, remove the
charging connector before re-
moving the plug.
