Vehicle ID
The Vehicle ID section displays the following information:
n VIN: The complete Vehicle Identication Number.
n YMME: The vehicle’s year, make, model and engine.
n Module No: The control module identication number(s).
n Cal ID: The vehicle’s calibration ID(s). These IDs uniquely identify the software version(s) for
the vehicle’s control module(s).
n CVN: The Vehicle’s Calibration Verication Number(s) (CVNs) required by OBD2 regulations.
CVNs are used to determine if emission-related calibrations for the vehicle under test have
been changed.
Available Modules
The Available Module section displays the following information:
n OBD2: Conrms the vehicle’s onboard diagnostic system is OBD2 compliant.
n Protocol: Lists the vehicle’s OBD2 communication protocol. This can be either ISO 9141,
Keyword 2000, J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW or CAN.
n Module$: Lists the primary control module’s identication number.
