6 Close the Front Cover and the Top Cover.
7 Reset the counter (see Reset the Usage Counters (ADS-2000e) on page 188).
NOTE
Confirm the following:
• The value of Separation Pad Count is 0 (see Check Supplies Replacement Cycle (ADS-2000e)
on page 181).
• The error message on the Status Monitor has been cleared.
• The LCD or LED indications does not indicate Replace Pad and Replace Parts.
Replace the Pick-up Roller 8
Your machine is equipped with a scan counter that automatically counts how many times the machine has
scanned. When the machine scans 50,000 times, the Status Monitor displays a message to remind you to
replace the Pick-up Roller.
1 Open the Top Cover a and the Front Cover s.
2 Hold the both sides of the Pick-up Roller Cover a and then pull the cover down.
