From AXIS Camera Station 5.0, there are two license types:
• Core Device licenses: Core Device licenses apply to Axis devices such as Axis network cameras. A maximum of 32 Core
Device licenses may be used on a system *.
• Universal Device licenses: Universal Device licenses add scalability above 32 devices per system * and third party device
support.
* A system may consist of one or more servers. When an AXIS Camera Station viewing client is connected to two or more AXIS Camera
Station servers at the same time, these servers are considered as part of the same system and share a common pool of maximum 32
Core Device licenses in total.
Before you purchase any licenses, you can evaluate AXIS Camera Station when adding new devices to the system. A 30-day trial
period is offered for each added device. For detailed information about how to purchase licenses and how to upgrade existing
