measure the current value, average value, minimum value, maximum value, standard
deviation, and count value of the ripples on the power output terminal.
TIP
A 1X probe (e.g. PVP2150 and PVP2350) is recommended for the ripple measurements.
• Select the Analysis Type
Click or tap the
Type drop-down button to select "Ripple".
• Set Ripple Analysis Source
Click or tap the Source drop-down button to select the source (CH1-CH4).
• Set Count
Click or tap the Cnt input field to set the number of statistical times for ripple
analysis with the numeric keypad. You can also use the corresponding
multipurpose knob to set the value. Its range is from 2 to 5000. By default, it is
1000.
• Reset
Click or tap Reset Stat. to clear the current data and execute statistics on the
measurement results again.
• Open or Close the Results Display Window
Click or tap the
Display on/off switch to enable or disable the display of the
results. When enabled, the statistical results will be displayed on the screen, as
shown in the figure below. You can also click or tap the icon at the right-
upper corner of the statistical results window to close it.

• View the Connection Diagram
Click or tap Tips, and then the connection diagram of the ripple analysis is
displayed on the screen, as shown in the figure below. Please connect the cables
according to the connection method. You can click or tap the icon at the
right-upper corner of the connection diagram window to close it.
