° Daily Cleaning/Light Soil E Wipe
with one of the following - soapy water,
wBte vineDr/water solution, Formula409
Glassand Surface Cleaner* or a similar
glasscleaner- udngaspongeor soft cloth.
Rinseand dry. To polish andhdp prevent
fingerprints, follow with Stainless Steel
MagicSpray (Jenn-Air Model A912, Part
No. 20000008)**.
" Moderate/Neaw Soil -- Wipe with
one of the following - Ban Ami, Smart
Cleanser, or Soft Scrub* - using a damp
spongeor soft cloth. Rinseand dry. Stub-
born soils may be removed with a damp
Scotch-Brite* pad; rub evenly with the
grain. Rinseand dry. To restore luster and
remove streaks,follow with StainlessSteel
MagicSpray"*.
" Discoloration -- Using a damp sponge
or soft cloth, wipe with Cameo Stainless
Steel Cleaner*. Rinse immediately and
dry. To remove streaks and restore lus-
ter, follow with Stainless Steel Magic
Spray**.
STORAGE DRAWER - PAINTED
" When cool, wash 'with warm soapy
water, rinse and dry. Never 'wipe a
warm or hot surface with a damp cloth
as this may damage the surface and may
cause a steam burn.
For stubborn soft, use mildly abrasive
cleaning agents such as baking soda
pasteor Ban Ami.* Do not useabrasive,
causticor harsh cleaningagents such as
steelwool padsor oven cleaners.These
products wii[ scratch or permanenqy
damage the surface.
NOTE: Use dry towel or cloth to
wipe up spills, especially acidic or
sugary spills. Surface may discolor
or dull if soil is not immediately
removed. This is especially impor-
tant for white sur/aces.
GRILL ACCESSORIES --
BASIN AND BASIN PAN --
The basin pan and basin are located under
the grill dement and/or cartridges. Clean
after each use of the grill.
To remove light soil dean with soapy
water or spray with cleansers such as
Fantastik# or Formula 409*. For easier
cleanup: a) spray with a household
cleanser; b) cover with paper towels; ¢)
add small amount of hot water to keep
the paper towels moist; d) cover and
wait [5 minutes; and e) wipe clean.
To remove moderate soil scrub with
BanAmi*, a soft scrub cleanseror plastic
scrubber.
° Basin liner pan can be cleaned in the
dishwasher.
Note: Check the grease drain after each
useof the grill. To dean: Pour about 73cup
of very hot tap water mixed with [ tea-
spoon dishdetergent down the drain.
" Never immerse in water. Host soil wii[
burn off during use. The terminal block
may be wiped with warm soapy water.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or mamri-
ais. Dry thoroughly before reinserting in
the cooktop.
GRATES -- CAST ALUMINUM_
COATED WITH NON-STICK
FINISH
Wash cool grates (DO NOT IMMERSE
HOT GRILL GRATESIN WATER) with
detergent in hot water in the sin[<or
washthem in the dishwasher. Besure to
remove ai[ food residue before cooking
on the grill grates again.
" Remove stubborn softs with a plastic
meshpuffor pad. Use only those dean-
ins products which state they are recom-
mended for usewhen cleaning nonstick
surfaces,
Ifgrates were washed in the dishwasher,
seasonwith oil prior m grilling.
Do not use metal brushes or abrasive
scouring pads or other scrubbers in-
tended to dean outdoor charcoal grills.
These wii[ remove the finish as wei[ as
scratch the grates. Do not dean in serf-
cleaning oven or use oven cleaners on
the grates.
GREASE CuP
The container is located on the [eft side
behind the bottom access pane[, under-
neath the range. (See page [8 for opening
access panel.) It collects grease and other
liquids created while grilling or using
some of the accessories. Check each
time after grilling and empty when grease
is noticeable. To remove, simply grasp
the handle, and puil from the bracket
The container can be washed in hot,
soapywater or in the dishwasher.
