CLEAN PAD
Use to set a self-cleancycle or a delayed
self-clean cycle. One press of the Clean
pad sets up an immediate dean cycle. A
second press of the Clean pad sets up a
delayed dean cycle.
° Clean oven
frame, door
frame(areaout-
side of gasket)
and around the [
opening in the
door gasket with a nonabrasive cleaner
suchas Bon Amff. These areasare not
exposed to cleaningtemperatures.
* Remove oven racks. [fracksare [eft in
during a dean cycle, it may impair func-
tion and they will discolor. Turn off the
oven hght and dose door.

registered trademarks of the respective
manufacturers.
TO SET FOR [HHED_ATE START:
I. Press Clean pad once.
2. Press the Auto Set pad for 3 hours of
cleaning time, press again for 4 hours
and again if 2. hours of dean time is
desired,
3. CLEANING and LOC plus the clean
time wiil appear in the display.
4. When the dean cycle is complete,
CLEANED wiii be displayed. LOC wiii
remain on until the oven has cooled
(approx. [ hour).
5. When the oven is coo[, LOC will no
longer be displayed and the door may be
opened.
6, Wipe out the oven interior with a damp
cloth. [f soil remains it indicates the
cycle was not long enough,
TO CANCEL SELF-CLEAN:
Press Cancel pad.
2. [f LOC is NOT displayed, open oven
door. [fLOC is displayed,allow oven to
COOl,
TO SET FOR DELAY START:
PressClean pad twice.
:2.Pressthe Auto Set pad to program a
2-hour delay. Each additional press of
Auto get wiil add 2-hours upto atotal
delay of eight hours from the current
time.
3. The start time andthe time of daywiil be
displayedduring the delay period.
4. At the end of the delay period, CLEAN-
[NG, LOC and the dean time wii[ appear
in the display.
5. Follow steps 4-6 in preceding section.
* To prevent damage to oven door, do
not attempt to open oven door when
the LOC indicator word is displayed.
* During the cleaning process, the kitchen
should be wei[ ventilated to help elimi-
nate normal odors associated with
cleaning. Odors wii[ lessen with use,
* [t is normal for flare-ups, smoking or
flaming to occur during cleaning if the
oven is heavily soiled. [t is better to
dean the oven regularly rather than to
wait until there is a heavy buildup of
soil.
* Wipe upexcessgreaseor spiiiovers to
prevent flare-ups. For easein cleaning,
the bake dement in the oven can be
lifted siighdy (i inch),
° [t is normal for parts of the range to
becomehot duringacleancycle.Avoid
touching cooktop, door, window or
oven vent area during a dean cycle.
A cooling fanwii[ automatically turn on
during cleaning.[f it does not operate,
contact an authorized servicer.
, Wipe up sugaryand acidic spiiiovers
such as sweet potatoes, tomato or
milk-based saucesprior to a self-clean
cycle. Porcelain enamel is acid resis-
tant, not acid proof and may discolor
if spillsare not wiped up before aself-
dean cycle.
* A white discoloration may appear af-
ter cleaning if acidic or sugary foods
are not wiped up before the dean
cycle. Thisdiscoloration is normal and
wiii NOT affect performance.
