The jack must be placed on a firm, flat and
non-slip surface. If necessary, use a large,
flat, load-bearing, non-slip underlay.
R
The foot of the jack must be positioned verti
cally under the jacking point.
Rules of conduct when the vehicle is raised:
R
Never place your hands or feet under the
vehicle.
R
Do not lie under the vehicle.
R
Do not start the engine and do not release
the electric parking brake.
R
Do not open or close any doors or the tail
gate.

Using the lug wrench, loosen the wheel bolts
on the wheel you wish to change by about
one full turn. Do not unscrew the bolts com
pletely.

WARNING Risk of injury from incorrect
positioning of the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at
the appropriate jacking point of the vehicle,
the jack could tip with the vehicle raised.

Only position the jack at the appropri
ate jacking point of the vehicle. The
base of the jack must be positioned ver
tically under the jacking point of the
vehicle.

NOTE Vehicle damage from the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at
the appropriate jack support point of the
vehicle, the jack could tip over with the vehi
cle raised.

The jack is designed exclusively for
jacking up the vehicle at the jack sup
port points.
#
Take the ratchet wrench out of the tire-
change tool kit and place it on the hexagon
nut of the jack so that the letters "AUF" are
visible.
