Press the buttons for the functions you want
to include in the macro operation in

You can set up to 10 steps (10 functions). Alter you
have set 10 steps, FULL appears and the remote
control automatically exits the macro mode.

Indicates the

You can clear all changes made in each function set, such
as learned fuactions, macros, renamed source names and
setup remote control codes.
• Basic CLEAR operations
Set AMP/SOURCE/TV to AMP or SOURCE.
Press CLEAR by using a ballpoint pen or
similar object.
CLEAR appears in the display window.

To change the selected source component, press
SELECT A / V. Pressing the input selector buttons will
program a macro step, whereas SELECT A / _7 only changes
the selected component and corresponding component control
area.
Press MACRO again when the operation
sequence you want to program is complete.
Note
ERROR appears in the display window if you press a hLittoo
not indicated in the respective step, or if you press more than
one bullon simultaneously.
Memory back-up
The memory back-up circuit prevents the stored data
from being lost. However, the stored data will be lost
in case the power cord is disconnected from the AC
wall outlet for more than one week.
lfyou do not complete each of Ihe following steps "within 31)
seconds, the clearing mode will be automatically canceled.
In this case, press CLEAR again.
Press A / V to select the clear mode.
L:CD Clears :ill learned functions in the respective
component control area. Press an input selector
button to select the componenl.
LAMP Clears all learned fnnclions for this unit's control
area.
L:ALL Clears all learned fnnclions.
M:ALL Clears all programmed macros.
RNAME Clears all renamed source names.
FCTRY Clears all remote lunclions and returns the remote
to the factory settings.
The name of a component is shown after a semicolon C).
Press and hold CLEAR again for about 3
seconds.
WAIT appears in the display window. If clearing was
successful, C;OK appears in the display window'.

Once you have cleared a learned limction for a button, the
button reverts to the l'actory setting (or to the manulacmrer
setting, if you have set remote control codes).
L:ALL and FCTRY may take about 31)seconds to complete.
