• ERROR @pears in the display window if you press a button not
indicated in the respective step, or when you press more than
one button simultaneously.
• The supplied rmnote control does not contain all possible codes
lbr commercially av:filableaudio :rodvideo components
(iucluding YAMAHA components). If operation is not possible
with any of the remote control codes, program the new remote
control fimction using the Learn feature (see "Using LEARN")
or use the remote control supplied with the componmlt.
• Function programmed using the learn lhature take priority over
remote control code l/luctions.
You can program remote control codes from other remote
controls. Use the LEARN feature if you want to program
flmctions not included in the basic operations covered by
the remote control codes, or an appropriate remote control
code is not available. You can program any of the buttons
available in the component control area (see page 103).
The buttons can be programmed independently for each
component.
This remote control transmits infrared rays. If the other remote
control also uses iulbared rays. this remote control can learn most
of its luuctious. However. you may not be able to program some
special signals or extrmnely long transmissions. (Refer to the
operating instructions lbr the other remote control.)
