Singing with Song Playback—Setting Up
Switching Song playback modes
This instrument features two modes of Song playback: Song Player mode and Song List mode. Song Player mode plays
back a MIDI Song and a Audio Song simultaneously. Song List mode plays back Songs continuously along with a previ-
ously created Song List.
1 Press the [PLAYER] button to call up the Song Playback display.
The Song Player function or Song List is displayed, depending on which you have
selected last time.
2 Touch the display or press the [PLAYER] button to switch the
Song playback mode.
Song File Compatibility
You can play back the following types of Songs.
Preset Songs (MIDI Songs)
Your own recorded Songs (for instructions on recording, see page 84)
Commercially available Songs: MIDI files in SMF (Standard MIDI File) format, Audio files in WAV or MP3 format.
WAV ..........44.1 kHz sample rate, 16 bit resolution, stereo
MP3 ..........44.1/48.0 kHz sample rate, 64–320 kbps bit rate or VBR, mono/stereo
