Before you start
STEP 3. Auto Update
The Auto Update function automatically updates the software for performance
improvement purposes or to fix bugs through communicating with the update
server. If you agree to this setting, it is regarded as an agreement to running
the auto update operation. When the software is updated, some software
features may become unavailable depending on the update.

Enable the auto update to keep up-to-date.
1. Tap ON to enable, or OFF to disable the
auto update.
2. Tap OK.
To return to the previous screen, tap .

you can make the initial settings (Language
/ Time / Auto Update) by referring to the

New oven smell
Before using the oven for the rst time, clean inside the oven to remove the new
oven smell.
1. Remove all accessories from inside the oven.
2. Run the oven with Convection 200 °C or Conventional 200 °C for an hour. This
will burn any remaining production substances in the oven.
3. When complete, turn off the oven.
Smart safety mechanism
If you open the door while the oven is operating, the oven light turns on and
both the fan and the heating elements stop operation. This is to prevent physical
injuries such as burns as well as to prevent unnecessary energy loss. When this
happens, simply close the door and the oven continues to operate normally
because this is not a system failure.
Soft closing door (gentle, safe, and silent)
The Samsung Built-in Oven features a soft closing door that gently, safely, and
silently closes.
When closing the door, the specially designed hinges catch the door a few
centimetres before the nal position. This is the perfect touch for added comfort,
allowing the door to be closed silently and gently.
(Availability of this feature depends on the oven model.)
The door starts to be closed softly at about
15 degrees and completely closed within
approx. 5 seconds.
