Resetting
Reset to Factory Default 1 Select the settings you want to reset to default and press ENTER.
You can reset the following settings:
Import Settings
Video Settings
Audio Settings
Photo Settings
System Settings
BD/DVD Viewing Settings
Network Settings
All Settings
2 On the confirmation screen, select [Start] and press ENTER.

To initialize the entire system, execute all three of [Reset to Factory Default], [Initialize Personal
Settings], and [HDD Initialization] (page 117).
You can reset the server settings to the
factory default by selecting the group of
settings. Note that all the settings within the
group will be reset.
Initialize Personal Settings Messages
Messages are cleared.
Password and parental controls
Parental Control is cleared.
Password for parental control is also cleared.

To initialize the entire system, execute all three of [Reset to Factory Default], [Initialize Personal
Settings], and [HDD Initialization] (page 117).
Notes
You cannot erase the personal settings one by one. All the settings will be lost once erased.
HDD content that you have imported will not be lost.
This setting will not clear the password for BD locking.
Erasing the data within the server before
disposing or transferring is strongly
recommended.
