Adjusting the gain
You can use this if you do not want to increase the value by AGC (automatic gain control) during recording movies.
A: Manual dial
B: ISO/GAIN button
C: AUTO/MANUAL switch
To adjust the gain automatically
Press ISO/GAIN button while the gain value is highlighted.
The gain value disappears, or
appears next to the gain value. When AE is fixed, appears next to the gain value.
Note
When you set the AUTO/MANUAL switch to AUTO, the iris, gain, ISO sensitivity, shutter speed, and white balance is adjusted
automatically. You cannot adjust them manually.
The adjusted screen for the ISO sensitivity appears during Photo mode.
Check that the camcorder is in Movie mode.

Set the AUT O/MANUAL switch to MANUAL.

Press the ISO/GAIN button.
The
or next to the gain value disappears, and the gain value is highlighted.
