Using the camcorder abroad
Power supply
You can use the camcorder in any countries/regions using the AC Adaptor supplied with the camcorder
within the AC 100 V to 240 V , 50 Hz/60 Hz range. You can also charge the battery pack.
Viewing images in 4K
To view 4K images in 4K, you need to connect the camcorder to a 4K compatible TV (or monitor) using an
HDMI cable (sold separately). T o view the movies recorded with your camcorder on a TV , set [ 60i/50i SEL ] in
advance to the appropriate TV system for the country/region in which you intend to watch the movies. See
"Countries/regions where you need to set [ 60i/50i SEL ] to [60i]" and "Countries/regions where you need to
set [ 60i/50i SEL ] to [ 50i]" for countries and regions where your TV system supports each setting.
Viewing high definition image quality (HD) movies
To view high definition (HD) images in HD, you need to connect the camcorder to an HD compatible TV (or
monitor) using an HDMI cable (sold separately). T o view the movies recorded with your camcorder on a TV ,
set [ 60i/50i SEL ] in advance to the appropriate TV system for the country/region in which you intend to watch
the movies. See "Countries/regions where you need to set [ 60i/50i SEL ] to [60i ]" and "Countries/regions
where you need to set [ 60i/50i SEL ] to [ 50i]" for countries and regions where your TV system supports each
setting.

To view images on a TV (or monitor), you need to connect the camcorder to a TV (or monitor) using an HDMI
cable (sold separately) or an A V cable (sold separately). T o view the movies recorded with your camcorder
on a TV, set [ 60i/50i SEL ] in advance to the appropriate TV system for the country/region in which you intend
to watch the movies. See "Countries/regions where you need to set [ 60i/50i SEL ] to [60i ]" and
"Countries/regions where you need to set [ 60i/50i SEL ] to [ 50i]" for countries and regions where your TV
system supports each setting.

Setting to the local time
You can easily set the clock to the local time by setting a time difference when using the camcorder abroad.
Press the MENU button - select
(OTHERS) - [AREA SET].
