Using Anynet+ (HDMi-CEC)
Use Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) to control all external devices that support HDMI-CEC using just the TV's
remote control. Note that Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) only works with the TV's remote control and not with
the panel keys.
You can configure the TV_s universaI remote funct on to control - using the TV's remote control
third--party cable boxes, Blu-ray players, and home theaters that do not support HDMI-CEC. Refer to

nformat on.
Anynet+ cannot be used to control external devices that do not support HDMI_CEC.
Anynet+ devices must be connected to the TV using an HDMI cabb. Some HDMI cabes may not support
Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). In ths case, you wi need to replace the HDMI cabe.
The TV remote contro may not function under certain circumstances. If this occurs, seect the Anynet+
device again.
Anynet+ (HDMI--CEC) onty works wth external devices that support HDMI-CEC and only when those
devices are either in standby mode or turned on.
Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC} can contro up to 12 compat bJe external dev ces (up to 3 of the same type). With
home theater systems, however_ the number of systems that can be contro Ied s 1mited to one.
To listen to 5.1-channe audio from an external dev ce, connect the devce to the TV via an HDMI cabe and
the device's dgtat audo output connector d rectly to the home theater system.
A home theater system that has been connected to the TV using an HDMI cable and an opt cal cabe
supports 2_channel audo only, 5.1_channe audo s, however:, ava abe for dgta broadcasts with
5.1_channe audo.
