Basic Guide Connection Procedure
4K Projection
■ Definition of 4K
Several resolution specifications are described as being 4K, including 3840 x 2160,
3840 x 2400, 4096 x 2160, and 4096 x 2400, as shown in the following comparative
simulation.
The projector supports input signals at resolutions up to the maximum 4K resolution
of 4096 x 2400.
For details, check the table of supported signals. (P198)
■ 4K Digital Signal Compatibility
The projector is equipped with DVI-D and HDMI: 2 (4K / Deep Color / HDCP 2.2*

)
inputs.
DVI-D input is classified as single-link or dual-link, depending on the dot clock.
Projecting resolutions with a dot clock higher than 165 MHz requires a dual-link
plug and cable.
Main DVI-D input resolutions
• 4096 x 2160 (dual-link; vertical frequency: 24 Hz)
