Dynamic gamma
You can adjust the gradation representation of light and dark portions of an image
automatically.
Option Function
Off Disable dynamic gamma adjustment.
Weak
Specify one of three levels of dynamic gamma adjustment.Middle
Strong
Dynamic contrast
For dark images, makes dark image areas even darker.
Option Function
Off Disable dynamic contrast adjustment.
Mode 1
Suitable for videos and slideshows.
Enhances contrast slightly, and suits bright viewing environments. Contrast
is adjusted automatically in response to changes in the input signal.
Mode 2
Suitable for slideshows and videos with scenes that change gradually, as for
landscapes. Enhances contrast, and suits dark viewing environments.
Contrast is adjusted automatically in response to changes in the input signal.
Mode 3
Suitable for videos with many scene changes. Enhances contrast, and suits
dark viewing environments. Contrast is adjusted automatically and more
aggressively in response to changes in the input signal.
Colorimetry
Select the input color space.
Option Function
Auto
Automatically determine the optimal color space (BT.709 or BT.2020) based
on input signals.
BT.709 Forces use of the BT.709 color space.
BT.2020 Forces use of the BT.2020 color space.
HDR (High Dynamic Range)
HDR range adjustment projects an expanded range of image luminance, preserving detail in
highlights and shadows.
Option Function
Auto Automatically use HDR when HDR signals are supplied.
Off Prevent use of HDR.
On Require use of HDR.
[Colorimetry] can only be set when the image mode (P99) is [Video].
[HDR] can only be set when the image mode (P99) is [Video].
