You have placed the food in the oven,
selected an operating mode and set the
temperature.
By selecting Additional Settings you can
adjust cooking times and configure
additional settings for the cooking
program.
Select Change.
Select Additional Settings.
Additional menu items will appear. You
can select or change these options for
the cooking program:
Duration
Core temperature (This only appears
if you are using the wireless roast
probe with the upper oven. You
cannot set a cooking duration when
using the roast probe.)
Ready at
Start at (This only appears if a
Duration or Ready at time has been
set.)
Rapid PreHeat (This only appears in
the Convection Bake , Auto Roast
, Surround and Moisture Plus
modes if you set a temperature
above 212 °F/100 °C.)
Crisp function (This only appears
when the upper oven is selected. You
can use this moisture reduction
feature to make food crispy on the
outside or to bake pies/cakes with
moist fillings.)
Change type of heating (This only
appears in the Moisture Plus
mode when the upper oven is
selected. You can combine bursts of
steam with another type of heating.)
Change Operating Mode (You can
change the mode while a cooking
program is in process.)
Changing the temperature
As soon as a cooking mode is selected,
the corresponding recommended
temperature will appear in the display
together with its possible range (see
“Mode overview”).
If the recommended temperature is
suitable for your recipe, confirm with
OK.
If it is not suitable for your recipe, you
can change it for this particular
cooking program.
You can also permanently reset the
recommended temperature to suit
your personal cooking habits (See
“Settings – Recommended
temperatures”).
Example: You have selected Convection
Bake and 350°F (170°C) and can
see the temperature increasing.
You want to reduce the required
temperature to 310°F (155°C).
Select Change.
Change the temperature.
Confirm with OK.
The adjusted temperature is saved. The
required and the actual temperatures
will appear.
