Actual temperature
The temperature you select in the passenger
compartment corresponds to the physical expe-
rience with reference to factors such as ambient
temperature, air speed, humidity and solar radia-
tion etc. in and around the car at the time.
The system includes a sun sensor (p. 129) which
detects on which side the sun is shining into the
passenger compartment. This means that the
temperature can differ between the right and left-
hand air vents despite the controls being set for
the same temperature on both sides.

Sensors - climate control
The climate control system has a number of sen-
sors to help control the temperature (p. 129) in
the car.
•
The sun sensor is located on the top side of
the dashboard.
•
The temperature sensor for the passenger
compartment is located below the climate
control panel.
•
The outside temperature sensor is located in
the door mirror.
•
The humidity sensor* is located by the inte-
rior rearview mirror.
NOTE
Do not cover or block the sensors with cloth-
ing or other objects.
