parking spaces parallel or at right angles to the
direction of travel in the following situations:

If the parking space is on a curb.
R
If the parking space is bordered by an obsta‐
cle, e.g. a tree, a post or a trailer.

button may also be located at a different
position in the center console.

Press button 1.
The Active Parking Assist view appears on the
multimedia system display. Area 2 displays
detected parking spaces 4 and vehicle path
3.

system display may differ from the actual
vehicle path.

If you have driven past a parking space: bring
the vehicle to a standstill.
