Shifting Gears
Your motorcycle transmission has 6
forward gears in a one-down, five-up shift
pattern.
If you put the motorcycle in gear with the
side stand down, the engine will shut off.
Recommended Shift Points
Your motorcycle is equipped with an
automatically controlled 7-speed
transmission. It can be shifted automatically
(by AT MODE) or manually (by MT MODE).

From 2nd to 3rd 19 mph (30 km/h)
