Disable Bluetooth auto detect
Most Bluetooth headphones when turned on try to connect to the most recent
device. If auto-detect is turned off or your headphones do not automatically connect,
you must use the previous instructions to manually connect your headphones when
you want to use private listening.
To change the auto-detect setting:
1. From the Home Screen Menu, navigate to Settings > Remotes & devices, and
then select Wireless headphones.
2. Select your headphones from the list.
3. Select Auto detect and select Off or On as desired.
Pairing your phone, tablet, or computer with
Bluetooth
®
Only on certain TVs, you can pair your mobile phone, tablet, or computer via
Bluetooth to play audio from that device through your TV. Use this feature to play
your music library, podcasts, meeting audio, or any other sounds from your paired
device.
Before you can connect your Bluetooth device to your TV, you must pair the device
with the TV. You typically need to pair your device only one time, after which it will
appear in the list of paired devices. If desired, you can pair multiple Bluetooth devices.
Pair your device
To pair your Bluetooth phone, tablet, or computer:
1. Turn on your device and navigate to its Bluetooth settings.
2. From the Home Screen Menu on your TV, navigate to Settings > Remotes &
devices > Smartphones & tablets, and then select Add a new smartphone or
tablet. (If you do not see this option, your TV does not have the Bluetooth
feature.)
