One-Shot AF for Still Subjects

AF-assist beam
You can select the AF operation characteristics to suit the shooting conditions or subject. In
Basic Zone modes, the optimum AF operation is set automatically for the respective
shooting mode.
1.
Turn the Mode dial to a Creative Zone.
2.
Set the focus mode to AF.
For RF lenses without a focus mode switch
Set [ : Focus mode] to [AF].
For RF lenses with a focus mode switch
Set the lens focus mode switch to < >.
