PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
After grinding, the coee lter (C2) or
(C3) is empty
The funnel of the coee mill is clogged
Clean as described in section “8.5 Cleaning
the “Smart tamping station””. If the prob-
lem persists, access the funnel by open-
ing the relative cover (A21) and clear the
blockage using the tube brush
After grinding, there is too much coee
in the lter
After grinding, the amount of coee in
the lter (C2) or (C3) does not give the
“perfect dose”
The "Smart Tamping Station" needs
cleaning
Clean as described in section “8.5 Cleaning
the “Smart tamping station””, then repeat
the grinding step
The quantity of ground coee needs
adjusting
Adjust the quantity of coee with the dial
(B2), following the instructions in section
“The “perfect dose””. If the dial is already in
the max. position, proceed as described in
section “7. Settings menu” - “Extra grind-
ing adjustment”
Over time the burrs wear down
Have the burrs replaced as indicated in
section “8.4 Replacing the burrs”.
