2. PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
Wash all accessories with warm water and washing-up liquid,
then proceed as follows:
1. Locate the beans container in the (A2) coee mill (g.
1).The container is correctly in place when the arrow
aligns with the symbol and a click is heard (g. 2).
2. Locate the drip tray (A10) together with the cup grille (A8)
and drip tray grille (A9) (g. 3);
3. Take out the water tank (A14) (g. 4) and ll with fresh
clean water, taking care not to exceed the MAX level (g. 5).
4. Put the tank back in the appliance.
Important: Never operate the appliance without water in the tank or without the
tank.
Please note: You should customise water hardness as soon as possible following the
instructions in section “7. Settings menu”.
3. SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE
1. Plug the power cord connector (C6) into the socket (A16) at
the back of the appliance (g. 6), then plug into the mains
socket. Make sure the main switch (A17) at the back of the
appliance is pressed and in the I position (g. 7);
2. Place a container of at least 100 ml capacity under the hot
water spout (next to the coee spout (A18)) as illustrated
(g. 8).
3. Press the button (B6) next to the indicator light (g.
9): delivery will start and then stop automatically. Empty
the container.
Before using the coee maker, the internal circuits of the ma-
chine must be rinsed. Proceed as follows:
4. Attach the lter holder (C1) complete with lter to the appli-
ance. To attach correctly, align the lter holder handle with
