SELECTING THE AUTOFOCUS MODE
Autofocus Mode can be selected according to the subject.
Press the
button and select the desired AF mode by using the Front
and Rear dials, or by pressing the
buttons.
SINGLE AF
MODE
(Default)
When the shutter button is half-pressed, the autofocus
activates. The autofocus is then locked when it comes into
focus (Focus Lock). In order to reset the focus, release the
shutter button and half-press the shutter button again.
Use your camera in this mode for regular photography
The shutter cannot be released unless it comes into focus.
The exposure is locked at the value wh
en the shutter
button is half-pressed.
When Continuous Drive Mode is selected, continuous
shooting is conducted at the focus position of the first
frame.
The focusing frame blinks if the subject is out of focus. (In
the sub-monitor, the focus indicator blinks.)
It is possible to turn the electronic sound off. Please set

CONTINUOUS
AF MODE
While the shutter button is half-pressed, the autofocus
continues driving. When it comes into focus,
the Focus
Indicator opens, but the focus is not locked. T
he motion
prediction function activates for moving objects
, and the
focus is adjusted to the timing of when the
shutter is
released.
When it does not come into focus, the shutter cannot be
released.
The exposure is set when the shutter button is released.
When Drive Mode is to Continuous, autofocusing and
shooting are repeated. However,
because Release is
prioritized,
the shutter may be released before it comes
into focus.
The AF may not be able to be followed or the focusing
accuracy may be lowered depending on the conditions of
the subject.
The electronic beeping sound does not sound.
