Power of the
subwoofer and
this unit is not
turned on and
off at the same
time.
Wired A system control cable used to connect the subwoofer to the unit is not
firmly connected.
Connect the cable firmly.

Wireless The subwoofer’s power function setting is not properly configured. (The
power function setting varies depending upon the subwoofer used. See
documentations supplied with the subwoofer for more information.)
Turn on the subwoofer manually.
If a Yamaha subwoofer has been connected via the SYSTEM CONNECTOR
jack, configure the subwoofer’s setting so that it turns on/off when the unit is
turned on/off.

Some subwoofers have a function that turns them on when the transmission
of audio signals by the unit is detected and off when no signal is detected,
and/or a function that allows you to specify the strength of audio signals
detected by the subwoofer. Be sure that these subwoofer functions are
properly configured.
The image is not displayed on TV
screen.
The HDMI cable is not securely connected. Connect the HDMI cable properly.

The input switch of TV is not set correctly. Set the TV’s input source to this unit.

connected to the TV or a playback device with an HDMI cable.
Connect only this unit to the TV or a playback device for use as an amplifier.
