Oven Light Replacement (onsomemodels)

HAZARD." Before replacing oven light bulb,
disconnect the electrical power to the 4
range at the main fuse or circuit breaker
panel. Failure to do so may result in
electric shock or burn.
CAUTIONBuRNHAZARO
The glass cover and bulb should be
removed when cool. Touching hot glass
with bare hands or a damp cloth can
cause burns.
Toremove:

Turn tile glass cover
counterclockwise :l/4 mrn until
tile tabs of the glass cover clear tile
grooves of tile socket. Wearing latex
gloves may of:let a better grip°
[] Using gloves or a (hT cloth, remove
tile bulb by pulling it straight out.
Toreplace:
[_ Use a new 120/130-volt halogen
bulb, not to exceed 50 watts.
Replace tile bulb with tile same type
of bulb that was removed. Yo m
model will have one of tile two types
shown on tile lefL To demrmine
the correct replacement bulb, check
tile bulb mmlinNs. Bulbs with 2
straight pin terminals are G6.35
bulbs. Bulbs with 2 looped terminals
are G9 bulbs. (DO not interchange.)
Be sure the replacement bulb is
mmd 120 volts or 130 volts (NOT
12 volts).

Usegloves
or cloth
Using gloves or a dry cloth, remove
the bulb flom its packaging. Do not
touch tile bulb with bare fingers.
Oil flom skin will damage tile bulb
and shorten its life.
Push tile btflb straight into tile
receptacle all tile way.
Place tile robs of tile glass cover into
tile grooves of tile socket. Turn tile
gk_ss cover clockwise :l/4 turn.
For improved lighdng inside die
oven, clean die gk_ss cover
flequen@ using a wet cloth. This
should be done when the oven is
complemly cool.
Reconnect electrical power to
tile oven°

Be sure to let the light cover and bulb
cool completely:
Toremove the cover
Hold a hand under tile cover so
it doesnt fidl when xeleased. XA,lth
fingers of tile same hand, firmly
push back tile wire cover hoMer
i JR off tile covex:
DO ROtremove ally screws to remove the cover
Toreplacethe cover:
Place it into groove of die light
receptacle. Pull whe fbrward to
tile cenmr of tile cover until it snaps
into place.
_] Connect electrical power to tile
xange.
Replace bulb with a 404,vatt
appliance bulb.
