convection roasdng results. The pan is
used to catch grease spills, and the grid
is used to prevent grease spatters while

Place the oven rack in the position
that centers the food bet_,veen the top
and bottom of tile oven.
When baking cookies,you will
get the best results if you use a
flat cookie sheet instead of a
pan with low sides.
Cookware for Convection Cooking
Before using yam convecdon oven,
check to see if your cool<ware leaves
room for ah circulation in the oven.
If you are baMng with several pans, leave
space between them. Also, be sure the
pans do not touch each other or tile
walls of tile oven.
Paper and Plastic
Heat-resistant paper and pkL_tic

convection oven. However; mere/pans
heat the fi_smst and are recommended
for convecdon baking.
Darkenedormatte-finished pans will bake
faster than shiny pans.
Glassor ceramicpans cook more slowl}_
For recipes like oven-baked chicl<en,
use a pan with low sides. Hot air cannot
circulate well around food in a pan with
high sides.

How to Set the Oven for Convection Baking or Roasting
[_ Touch tile CONVECTION BAKE
MULT//1 RaCK or CONVECTION
ROAST pad.
Touch tile number pads to set tile
desired oven temperature.
[_ Touch tile START pad.
To change the oven temperature, touch
tile CONVECTIONBaKEMUtTI/1RACKor
CONVECTION ROaST pad and then tlle
nmnber pads to set the new temperature.
When die oven starts to heat, file changing
telnperatme, starting at 100°F (38°C), will
be displayed. When oven reaches the
mmperamre you set, 3 beeps will sound.
[-_ Touch CLEaR/OFF pad when finished.
Youwill hear a fan while cooking with
convection. Thefan will stop when the door is
opened, but the heat wifl not turn oK
Youmayhear the oven clicking during
baking. Thisis normal
