Handling Song Files
A MIDI Song in the “User” memory of the instrument or on a USB flash drive
can be converted to an Audio Song then saved to the USER FILES folder on a
USB flash drive. For information about which Song types can be converted,
refer to page 63.
See page 64 for information on basic operations.
The following is a detailed procedure of step 4 on that page.
4-1. While “MIDI to Audio” is highlighted, press the [>]
button to call up the setting display.
4-2. Highlight “Execute” by pressing the [d] button, then
press the [>] button.
This operation starts playback and conversion from MIDI to Audio.
This is basically the same as that of Audio Song Recording, which
allows you to record your keyboard performance and other audio, such
as that from [AUX IN]. After you convert the Song, a message “Convert
completed” will be shown and the display returns to Song List display.

NOTE
After conversion, the MIDI
Song remains in the original
data location.
NOTICE
Do not turn off the power or
disconnect the USB flash drive
during the conversion.
Otherwise the data will be lost.
NOTE
A message appears when a
Song with same name already
exists in the copy destination.
Select “Overwrite” when you
want to overwrite the selected
Song by using the [
u]/[d]
buttons, then press the [>]
button.
NOTE
To cancel this operation, press
the [EXIT] button during the
conversion. When the
operation is canceled, the
converted Audio Song will not
be saved.
