Red-Eye Removal
Red-eye removal is available when an option other than OFF is selected
for F FLASH SETTING> RED EYE REMOVAL and G AF/MF SETTING>
FACE/EYE DETECTION SETTING is ON. Red-eye removal minimizes “red-
eye” caused when light from the ash is re ected from the subject’s retinas.
Flash Sync Speed
The ash will synchronize with the shutter at shutter speeds of ½ s or
slower.
Optional Flash Units from Fuji lm
The camera can be used with optional Fuji lm shoe-mounted ash units.
Third-Party Flash Units
Do not use third-party ash units that apply over 300V to the camera hot
shoe.
