Taking Photographs
Flash Photography
Use the supplied EF-X8 shoe-mounted  ash unit for addi-
tional lighting at night or indoors under low light.

Remove the hot shoe cover and slide
the  ash onto the hot shoe as shown,
stopping when it clicks into place.

Raise the  ash.

Select FLASH FUNCTION SETTING in
the F FLASH SETTING menu.

If the  ash is not raised, settings will be adjusted for units con-
