press the “Start/Stop” button.

The machine will automatically sew reverse stitches
(or reinforcement stitches) and then continue
sewing.

reached, press he "Reverse Stitch" button
or the "Reinforcement Stitch" button.

The machine will sew reverse stitches (or
reinforcement stitches) and stop.
The operation performed when the button is
pressed differs depending on the selected stitch
pattern. Refer to the following table for details on
the operation that is performed when the button is
pressed.
Some stitches, such as buttonholes and bar
tacks, require reinforcement stitches at the
beginning of sewing. If you select one of
these stitches, the machine will
automatically turn on this function (the key
appears as when the stitch is selected).
Pressing the “Start/Stop” button while the
machine is sewing pauses or restarts
sewing.
To turn off the automatic reinforcement
stitching function, press again, so it
appears as .
