Terminology

Administrator

• The person who adds users to the SpeechLive

workow and manages workow relationships.

Author

• The person who records dictations as audio les.

Transcriptionist

• The person who transcribes the audio les (dictations)

of authors.

Oce manager

• An author or transcriptionist with additional rights,

such as managing users and workow relationship

settings.

User

• Umbrella term for the author and transcriptionist roles.

Philips SpeechExec workow software

• Authors and transcriptionists can use this software to

record and transcribe dictations, and manage various

device settings.
